Ireland and Northern Ireland have already lost much of their native wildlife, and what remains is struggling to survive. One-third of all bee species are at risk of extinction, threatening pollination, food security, and ecosystem stability. Other species, including red squirrels, puffins, dragonflies, and butterflies, are also disappearing.
